My first stage is From Woodhouse Eves to Mountsorrel. The path is mainly on the level crossing arable and pasture fields until the halfway stage where it crosses the Great Central Railway with steam and heritage diesel locos. The path then follows minor roads past Swithland reservoir then downhill into Mountsorrel.
